Feelive South Africa Warranty and Return policy
Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for the purchase of a Feelive product. The following conditions apply to the warranty on your Feelive product, which replaces any other conditions printed or published elsewhere. Please read through the conditions carefully and make sure you understand them. If you have any questions regarding the warranty, please send us an e-mail to service@feelive.co.za.
Conditions of your Warranty
Feelive warrants the product against manufacturing defects and / or defective material and the working of your product from the date of purchase, provided it is used for its intended purpose for domestic use only, warranty is not covered if the product is used for commercial purpose unless product specified for commercial use.
Terms & Conditions
The warranty on the product is supplied on condition that only Feelive authorized service agents are used at all times for the warranty to remain valid, this is applicable for any repairs or inspections carried out by Feelive. Kindly return it with the original proof of purchase to the store which was purchased from, within the warranty period from date of purchase. The product will be booked for inspection and verification for the reported fault.
Feelive is in support of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, and in the first 6 (six) months from date of purchase, for valid warranty claims.
It is required to log a service call for inspection and verification for the reported fault.
The warranty of an exchange will not be altered or renewed it will continue from the original date of purchase from the original unit.
The warranty shall be applicable only to the original purchaser (and is not transferable) of the product from an authorized Feelive Dealer or Distributor and only where the product has been retained for use in the Republic of South Africa. For warranty conditions, period and queries in any other country, outside South Africa, please consult the in country local Distributor.
Important note: In order to make sure you get to use the warranty supplied with your product and for the protection of your product when returning it, please keep the box your product came in as well as the packaging and all accessories and ensure to retain the original proof of purchase. The maximum time frame for packaging to be kept will be 6 months, thereafter the client can discard the packaging.
South African models and specifications may differ to international models, please ensure you refer to our local Feelive website to confirm the specifications prior to your purchase. Feelive South Africa will not be held responsible in the event an incorrect model is purchased, based on reviews from other sources and other media blogs.
Any product that has been delivered without any damage to the client’s premises and a signed proof of delivery (POD) with no remarks will not be considered. Damages identified by the consumer must be reported within 24hrs – 48hrs to the retailer and the manufacturer email address provided above.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty will no longer be valid and Feelive will not be responsible for damage or injury of any kind resulting from electricity fluctuations and surges, lightning strikes, faults in the building wiring, faulty installations, and improper use of controls and or failure to use the product in accordance with the operating instructions and or general misuse and or abuse, improper maintenance or if not used for domestic purposes only, or for damage caused by a superior force (vis major). Where the product has been infested with insects or pests. The product is physically damaged after it left the store. If water or liquid caused damage to the product. If the warrantee seal is tampered with. Any repair or tampering by an unauthorized person or attempt to repair or tamper with the equipment, or use of original parts not supplied by authorized agents, or alterations or modification to the equipment and incorrect installation of the product, shall render the warranty null and void.
Feelive does not install or compensate for reinstallation of a replacement product or repurchased product.
Irregular or unclean supply of electricity or plumbing causing the product to malfunction.
Disassembly of product from any fixtures or removal of brackets from products is the responsibility of the client to remove and make the product freely accessible to perform the inspection. The technician is not responsible for removal of the product from any fixtures or cupboards.
Damages on a new product not reported within 3 days from purchase will not be considered for a review by the manufacturer.
After the first 6 (six) months from the date of purchase, this warranty does not apply to any accessories or to light bulbs, loose glass, glass doors and enamelled surfaces, filters, handles, doors, drawers or door compartments, or brackets, any accessories and other parts subject to wear and tear discolouring or rust. Damage caused by abrasive and highly concentrated cleaners and/or cleaning materials or cleaners prohibited by the user manual, will void the warranty.
After 6 (six) months from the date of purchase of a product the liability of Feelive under this warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective parts within the warranty period and does not extend to the installation or removal of the product.
Refunds and Returns
If you are not satisfied with your new purchase you may return your product for a refund, excluding the shipping cost, or exchange subject to producing the original receipt and ensuring the product is in its original packaging and condition.
Unwanted products may be returned within 30 days of the product(s) being delivered.
We will refund the price paid for the goods or exchange the products provided that the goods are still sealed with the original packaging and labels still attached have not been used or damaged.
Once we have received your return product and it has been assessed by Feelive authorized agent, you will be credited if you requested a refund or given a replacement or exchange.
In line with the CPA a handling fee of up to 15% of the value of the product may be charged when the product/packaging is not returned in its original purchase condition.
All accessories and parts must be included with the return.
Refunds are completed within 7-14 working days from date of agreement of purchase. For Returns the processing time frame will commence from time of goods received by ISER authorized Stores.
We regret that some products cannot be returned once you have received delivery. These include:
1.Delivery and or installation costs.
2.Any damaged or abused items.
Returning products that are not what you ordered.
If an incorrect product is delivered to you by mistake (i.e. it’s not the product you ordered), we’ll arrange to collect the product from you, and we’ll deliver the correct product to you as quickly as possible. Please don’t remove the product from its original packaging. Simply email our customer service team service@feelive.co.za to notify us, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Returning defective or damaged products
We do our best to ensure that the products we deliver to you are of a high quality. If you’ve received a product with a defect or fault, we’ll gladly replace the exact product at no additional cost to you. Where a replacement product is not available, you will be credited.
Faulty/defective products after 14 days:
In the unfortunate event that your purchased product becomes faulty/defective after 14 days, you will be entitled to have the product replaced as per the CPA (after goods has been inspected and assessed).
In the event that the product is found to be not faulty, you will be liable for all handling and shipping charges; for the collection and the re-delivery of the product to you. You will be liable if the goods are damaged or faulty as a result of misuse, abuse or negligence.
The warranty does not cover any defects caused by foreign objects /connection errors that is not part of the product, including but not limited to; use other than domestic use by the customer or his/her immediate resident family at the declared address appearing on the front of this document; failure by the customer or any other person to comply with the manufacturers’ instructions for installation, maintenance or use; the use of accessories which have not been approved by the manufacturer; the application and/or use of any incorrect or abnormal electrical or water supply to the appliance; any defect in wiring, electrical connections or plumbing which does not form part of the appliance at the time of the original purchase; neglect, misuse, or wilful abuse of the appliance; anything related to the appearance of the appliance which does not in Feelive sole opinion prevent the appliance from working adequately: this includes but is not limited to manufacturers’ defects such as: discolouring of any part of the appliance, paint peeling off, cracked or broken handles, plates, hinges, panels, shelves or any portion of the product which is glass; rust or the effects of rust; repairs or attempted repairs of the appliance by any person other than Feelive authorized repairers; any modification of the appliance by any person other than Feelive authorized repairers; parts or items of the appliance which are expected to wear out before the extended warranty period expires, including but not limited to, batteries, filters, disposable bags, rubber or plastic hose pipes, drive or fan belts, fuses and/or light bulbs cartridges, toners or ribbons; fire, food, war, civil disturbance, industrial action, acts of God or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Feelive; any defect arising out of the design of the appliance; any defect caused by lightning strike or power surges; blown or damaged speakers arising from misuse; any damage caused due to the use of generic or re-filled cartridges; any loss or destruction of, or any damage to any property whatsoever, or any loss expense whatsoever arising there from, or any consequential loss or any liability of whatsoever nature directly or indirectly caused by or contributed to, by or arising from ionizing, radiation, or contamination by radio activity from any nuclear fuel or any nuclear waste from the combustion of nuclear fuel. Combustion shall include any self-sustain process of nuclear fission, or any loss, destruction, damage or disability directly or indirectly caused by or contributed to, by or arising from nuclear weapons material; In addition, Feelive will not be liable for the costs of; maintenance, including cleaning, clearing of blockages and overhaul, insect infestation or paper jams; Feelive will not in any circumstances be liable for any consequential loss or damages suffered by the customer whether directly or indirectly related defect in the appliance to the extent permissible by law.
