A crispy, golden pork cutlet with a seasoned panko breadcrumb coating, cooked quickly in the air fryer for a deliciously crunchy yet tender meal.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pork chops
  • ½ cup (50 g) panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ cup (60 g) plain flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Place pork chops in a ziplock bag or cover with cling film.
  2. Pound the pork chops with a rolling pin or meat mallet until about 1.25 cm thick.
  3. In a bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper, and salt. Set aside.
  4. Dredge each pork chop in the flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 182°C.
  6. Spray both sides of the pork chops with cooking spray and place them in the preheated air fryer basket.
  7. Cook for 14 minutes at 182°C, flipping halfway if your air fryer requires it.
  8. Remove and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
