Feelive South Africa Warranty and Return Policy
Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for purchasing a Feelive product. Please read the following warranty terms carefully. These replace any other conditions printed or published elsewhere. For queries, contact us at service@feelive.co.za.
1. Warranty Conditions
Feelive warrants the product against manufacturing defects or faulty materials from the date of purchase, provided it is used solely for its intended domestic purpose.
This warranty becomes void if the product is used for commercial purposes, unless stated otherwise.
2. Terms & Conditions
- In accordance with Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) 68 of 2008, Feelive supports a six-month implied warranty on defects.
- Only authorised Feelive service agents must inspect or repair the product to maintain warranty validity.
- Do not attempt repairs yourself. This will void the warranty.
- All warranty claims require proof of purchase and must be logged with the retailer within the warranty period.
- Warranty cover does not extend or renew if a unit is exchanged or replaced—it follows the original purchase date.
- Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser within South Africa.
- Please retain the original packaging and all accessories for up to 6 months from purchase to facilitate returns or warranty claims.
- Damages upon delivery or purchase must be reported within 24–48 hours to the retailer.
3. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover the following:
- Damage from power surges, faulty electrical wiring, or lightning.
- Damage from misuse, neglect, improper installation, or failure to follow user manuals.
- Physical damage after the product leaves the store.
- Infestation by insects or pests.
- Water or liquid damage.
- Tampering with warranty seals.
- Unauthorised repairs, use of non-original parts, or alterations of any kind.
- Damage caused by abrasive cleaning materials or prohibited cleaners as per the user manual.
- Incorrect connections or external wiring not part of the appliance.
- Use of non-approved accessories or generic cartridges.
- Issues from neglect, misuse, or poor maintenance.
- Superficial defects during use like paint peeling, scratches, or broken glass that don’t affect performance.
- Damage caused by power surges, lightning, or blown speakers.
- Damages resulting from Acts of God, fire, floods, or nuclear incidents.
- Any indirect losses or consequential damages as far as permitted by law.
After six months, the warranty does not apply to parts subject to wear and tear including:
- Accessories, light bulbs, loose glass, drawers, handles, brackets, filters, etc.
- Discolouration, rust, and surface damages that don’t affect functionality.
4. Notes
- Feelive does not install products or cover installation costs.
- The customer is responsible for uninstalling products to allow technician access.
- Products damaged but not reported within 3 days from purchase may not qualify for review.
- Damage caused by external factors such as fires, floods, wars, civil unrest, or natural disasters is not covered.
5. Refunds & Returns
5.1 Unwanted Products
- Products may be returned within 14 days of delivery if sealed, unused, and in original condition.
- Some retailers may charge a restocking fee.
- All accessories must be included.
- Refunds are processed within 7–14 working days from return receipt.
5.2 Incorrect Deliveries
If you receive the wrong item, contact the retailer immediately. Do not open the packaging. They will arrange a collection and send the correct product.
5.3 Damaged or Defective Products
- Products with a factory fault or damage will be replaced at no additional cost.
- If a replacement is unavailable, a refund will be issued.
6. Faulty Products After 14 Days
- After 14 days, but within 6 months, you may request a replacement subject to inspection.
- If the item is not faulty, you may be liable for inspection, handling, and shipping costs.
