Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken (about 1.5–2 kg)
- 3 tbsp paprika
- 2 tbsp white pepper
- 3 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp lemon pepper
- 2 tsp ground thyme
- Cooking spray
Instructions:
- Clean the chicken and pat dry with paper towels to ensure the skin is dry.
- In a bowl, mix together all the seasonings.
- Spray the whole chicken with cooking spray, then rub the seasoning mix generously all over the chicken.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket with the legs facing down.
- Set the air fryer to 160°C (320°F) and cook for 60 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, carefully flip the chicken over.
- Continue cooking for the remaining 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 85°C (185°F).
- Allow the chicken to rest for 15 minutes before carving and serving.
